Why go abroad when you can come here

Wow, can you believe it that we’re halfway through the year already! With all our new recruits keeping us all so busy here in the office we’ve barely had time to catch the sun, let alone a G&T but rest assured we’ll be getting out and about in Manchester this month as it’s jammed packed with things to do......
Here’s a countdown of our must sees for Manchester this June so if you are looking for some company to enjoy all these fabulous events then please look at our Gallery of sexy escorts:

Maybe you're one of the lucky ones who has got yourselves a Parklife ticket? This festival, located in the leafy suburbs of Heaton Park turns a beautiful and sedate country estate to a marvellous festival of all things Manc! This year The 1975 headline as well as Two Door Cinema Club and remember that catchy ‘Budapest’ song? Well, George Ezra is there too as well as dance favourites Pete Tong and Fat Boy Slim, there’s still a few tickets available and still a chance that you can get your best festival wellies out!

If you’ve not yet been down to the Northern Quarter than I don’t really think there’s a better time than right now. The area located just North of Piccadilly Train Station is a vibrant spot that is full of exciting boutiques, independent restaurants, coffee shops and artist hangouts. The streets are alive with the freshest examples of street art including the iconic David Bowie tribute and is now littered with the legendary Manchester Worker Bee. If this doesn’t sound enticing enough, then maybe details of the Northern Quarter Makers Market will do the trick.

Happening on Sunday the 11th, the Quarter will be bustling with artisan stalls selling all sorts of delicacies for you to take home such as award-winning food and drink vintage wares, original crafts and as it’s Manchester, there is also a DJ there too, obviously. If you can’t make it this June don’t worry as you can always catch the next one as it’s held on the second Sunday of each month as it’s such a popular day out for all.

Sunday the 18th of June and we have my favourite day of the year…. Manchester Day!!! Beats Notting Hill Carnival any day in my eyes. On one day each year, the whole city is a party and everyone is invited to share what makes Manchester so unique and magical to all who live here and the many visitors who return time and time again. Over 60,000 people enjoyed the many activities last year, including us at Candy Shop, so go on - get on the party bus!

Last but not least you really should check out the offerings going on at Manchester International Festival. This is held every two years over two weeks and brings you the very best of cultural highlights from across the globe and uses the city of Manchester in ways you've never seen before from the end of June into mid-July.

The MIF introduces the best of the best in public performances, contemporary dance, visual arts, immersive and experimental theatre - these acts will blow you away. There is also a series of talks and debates which have included Professor Brian Cox, filmmaker Peter Strickland, Director of the Tate Dr Maria Balshaw and physicist Kostya Novoselov in previous years.

I'm not telling you on what's on this year though - that's up for you to find out... held in abandoned buildings, warehouses, Granada Studios, railway stations and the central boozing hub at Festival Square, there is just so much to offer at Manchester International Festival 2017 so make sure you take a look as when it's over, it's a long wait until the next one.
